FAQ

How can I be sure that an install will work properly when using Repelit?

If the installation instructions are followed and Repelit gives no indication that an entry was blocked during the installation process, the application will work exactly as if Repelit were not installed on the computer.

When in an install mode, many installs will work properly even if Repelit gives a “Blocked Entry” notification. Often times, programs will schedule themselves to auto-run every time your computer starts.  Most programs that do so will function properly but you will need to launch them manually from a shortcut.  This prevention of auto-running programs at startup (and auto-running threats in case of accidental user installation of badware) has the added advantage of reducing the number of programs that are actively running on your computer.  As a result, your computer will be safer, start and function more efficiently and will be more responsive overall.

If instructions are followed correctly, installation issues will not be related to Repelit.

Repelit cannot fix a bad install routine.  Repelit cannot fix computer configuration issues that prevent an install from working.  Repelit does not prevent other active monitoring security programs from removing entries if users answer those products alerts incorrectly.  In these cases, problems would happen even if Repelit were not installed on the computer.
