A)  To lock an install mode with a Static password:  

Click the LED radio button next to Static password type.  A window will come up asking you to “Enter New Password.”  Put in the password (remember to copy it down for your records), then retype the password in the “Enter New Password Again” field to confirm the correct spelling. Click “OK.”  The installation mode is now locked.  An icon in the shape of a lock will appear next to the button of the install mode.  The lock is a visual to remind users the install mode is not available.

 

B) To lock an install mode with a Dynamic password:

Click the LED radio button next to Dynamic password type.  A window will come up notifying you that you will need to use the “Dynamic Password Generation Utility” to unlock an install mode using dynamic passwords.  Along with the warning you will be required to confirm using dynamic passwords, click “Yes” to confirm.  The installation mode is now locked.  An icon in the shape of a lock will appear next to the button of the install Mode.  The lock is a visual to remind users the install mode is not available.

NOTE:  You do not enter a password with a Dynamic password option because it is created based on a time stamp entered into the Dynamic Password Generator Utility program for Repelit.
