You need to change to Software Install Mode when the program asks for the serial number, then put in the serial number. 

If an install is not completed as advised by the install mode box the serial number may not get registered permanently.  Some programs finish off after being launched for the first time and Repelit needs to be in Software Install Mode when the program registers the serial number.
