FAQ

How does Scrubit assure I am clean?

Scrubit will deliver a message to the user "No Badware Found."  It will show up in the large message box area to assure the user the system is free of badware processes.

"No Badware Found" means all running processes tested follows certain guidelines of safe behavior.  Scrubit's design requires processes to play by the rules and identifies and cleans off badware processes that do not follow safe program behavior.  Remember it is by design that virtually all badware digs into your system and refuses to be cleaned.  If a badware process escapes Scrubit’s discovery by playing by the rules, the process can be removed by conventional means.  That means it can be deleted and will not return or get rebuilt by an unknown process.

Scrubit can clean up these items as well with a different approach.  If the item plays by the rules but is annoying when it pops up at logon we have a method to clean these items (described later by another FAQ).
