The "Stop" button is not a close button. The "Stop" button runs a reset procedure if the user chooses to abort Scrubit testing. As a result, the only time the "Stop" button is not grayed out and becomes available is after a user clicks "Start" to begin the Scrubit process.

A reset of Scrubit coupled with a safelist restores the computer back to working order without necessitating a restart. Remember this first requires setting up a thorough safelist to work.
